I am stationed at Charleston Naval Weapons Station just outside North Charleston.  I have been enlisted for the past 3 years.  My wife and kids live in Hanahan.  Recently my wife had another kid and was not able to work.  We were both making payments on our house.  We started to fall behind because she wasn’t working.  I couldn’t let my wife and kids lose the house.  They needed it.  The bank was going to foreclose on our property unless we became current.  My wife was going back to work in about a month but that wasn’t soon enough to start making the payment.  We were only about $4400 dollars short of becoming current.  I had to do something fast in order to provide shelter for my family.
